Featured Education Project
Townsend Heritage Walking Tour In 2013, The Preservation Collaborative gave two programs in Townsend. Each program focused on one major town industry and how the surrounding neighborhood developed. Townsend Harbor was home to the Spaulding Brothers tannery. The Fessenden Hill area was home to the Fessenden Cooperage. Both have since disappeared on the landscape. Their memory is in the two sucessful walking tours we lead. They were attended by residents who both remembered, or had never heard of such places, leading to a memorable discussion among everyone involved. |
Helping Explore Your Past Our firm regularly gives lectures across New England to various organizations to celebrate our common history. From cemetery walking tours to virtual explorations, we tailor our topics to each audience. Because each town and organization is unique, each program is a different experience. We can help arrange something with your organization. Click here to learn more about our education services. |
